Craig Stockbridge (Musician, Composer, Producer) has crafted a unique writing and production style that
combines traditional instrumentation with layers of contemporary sound, creating unique compositions full of texture, depth and emotion.
Craig's recent credits include, Co writer, performer, executive producer of the 2006 Juno nominated M1 "Robopop" (Universal Music Canada), scored music for "National Ballet of Canada", "The Chimera Project" and Canadian Children's Dance Theater, commissioned by Universal Music to compose "Faux Aquarium" DVD, Scored music for "Sorella Productions", Scored and programmed music for "Shanghai Gallery" Video Game prototype and programmed music representing Canada at the "Osaka International Fashion Convention".
Born and bred of the UK scene, his proficiency as a guitarist led to gigging with bands from age 13 onwards. Craig's creative writing and production style is influenced by elements of 70's and 80's sound, Dub, Reggae, Funk and Rock; with a keen ear for emerging contemporary styles and directions with new Music.
In 2002, Craig along with Matteo DiMaria (M1) formed "Stockmar Music", a music production company profiling music from both Craig and Matteo, with tracks licensed to Universal Music, YTV, 15 Love, The Food Channel and The Surreal Gourmet.
2004, Craig and Matteo DiMaria formed the Reinvent Music Label. This provided a new base label and a slew of releases gaining global chart positions for M1, DJ Dayhota, The Highlife, Reinvent Music also became the vehicle for Craig's material "Playmachine", with a debut release "Baby Wahwah" Reinvent Music (2005) followed by Don't Stop the funk and Sexy vibrator (2006).
Craig has over 20 years experience in the music industry, starting in the mid 80's with managing music retail stores, in 1992 Craig joined HMV during their initial launch into the Canadian market. As Metro Region Manager Craig played an integral role, establishing and developing the HMV Brand in Canada, training and building new management teams and constantly breathing the passion of music into everyday lives.
