Anisa is a graduate of Canada's National Ballet School. She has worked with choreographers Christopher House, John Neumeier, Peggy Baker. Soon after she joined the Toronto Dance Theatre, where she danced repertoire by Christopher House, Samuel Wuersten, John Ottman and Dominique Dumais.
Subsequently she danced in Matjash Mrozewski's Break Open Play in the Western Canada tour, and people are scary, for the first Ffida Grande Scale Event. She performed in Robert Desrosiers' Mozart's Requiem, Gloria, and Messa Creola with the Mendelsohn Choir and Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
Her film work includes From Time to Time choreographed by Ginette Laurin, The Last dance 2, Swan Song a BavoFACT! choreographed by Susan Cash, and Save with choreographers created by Tone Talluega and Roberto Campanella.
She was featured in music video 30 Seconds to Mars choreographed by Gino Berti for the song "The Kill".
With ProArteDanza she performed Flotsam Jetsom, and Current Surrender, choreographed by Roberto Campanella for Evelyn Hart's final performance.
Wih T'art Dances Anisa Tejpar performed Through My Eyes, choreographed by Shawn Newman for Shanghai, China's first Fringe Festival.
Anisa Tejpar has been a member of The Chimera Project since 2006, and has performed in Light Explorations of a Darker Nature at the Canada Dance Festival, in Keep All Sharp Objects Out Of My Way as part of the DanceWorks Mainstage Series, was part of the creation residency in Victoria of The Hidden Spot, and Blood in 2009.
